I created Scattering Ashes back in 2009 as a blog to help people in dealing with the ashes of a loved one. Because when I found myself in the situation of not knowing and and knowing where to turn, I thought - this has to be better. So I researched and I researched some more. And the blog then became the business. The website is now visited by people in over 100 countries per month. We won a big industry award. We have had appearances on Radio 2, 4, 5 and BBC1. Plus articles and mentions in the The Times, The Daily Mail, The Observer, The Guardian to mention a but a few.What has happened to urban rivers - which I spent some considerable time tubthumping about... well there has been a slight changing of direction, I am still fascinated by the natural and built world, the quality of our environment, where we experience our environment and what we consider the environment to be and the disparities within this. But that is not the day job anymore.
