Created business plans, revenue/cost models, and product requirements documents. Evaluated vendors and created planning roadmaps for successful product launches. Responsibilities included 24 x 7 x 365 customer support and network operations center with related infrastructure: servers, networking, and telecommunications.

Launched business support SaaS platform for device configuration management, device location query, network management, and network usage monitoring. Launched low cost cellular devices for automatic vehicle location (AVL) reporting.

Managed a team responsible for customer requirements, product specifications, project schedules, and device certifications. Launched a multimode (satellite/cellular) network and multiple satellite, cellular, and multimode hardware devices.

A startup formed to commercialize a laser based, large scale, non-contact metrology system. MetricVision systems were used by major manufactures in aeronautical and automotive markets for reverse engineering, part alignment, and assembly verification. MetricVision was acquired by Nikon. Led development of system software. The embedded system stack included in-house designed digital signal processing boards, industrial PC board, and a real-time operating system. The system software was capable of performing one thousand 3D measurements per second. Since the company was a startup, also performed hardware design verification, supported 3rd party application partners, and demonstrated to customers.
