My professional life has consisted of jobs in Sales, Business Development and other phone related jobs to take care of my family. Honestly; none has held my true passion, they were just that "A JOB". I am self-taught in many things; but have had a passion for Architectural design ever since I picked up a Tee Square and #4-H Pencil. Much of my work in the design field has been on independent project designs to sharpen my skills and to evolve as a Revit Design Professional. This is a very much an arrested passion that I have been actively learning and I must say this is where I belong. So here I am knocking on doors trying to get my foot in any way I can.I formally do not have work experience in the field of residential design beyond my practice design work through my studies. I have successfully used my skills for independent residential design work for a few clients which I had found on craigslist. I have been taking some basic intro design classes at a community college, but that has been temporally delayed due to work constraints.I know using Revit and BIM are where the industry is headed. I have tried to seek the advice of a few professionals I have been able to keep in contact in the field, but have yet to get any sound advice on moving forward. I am not opposed to spending money for online training which is why I am learning about MEP. (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) documentation. My eagerness to learn and work has practically no bounds and am willing to go the extra mile on the job. So whomever, decide to take a chance on me will have surely made an investment in talent, passion and a dedicated professional that will continue to improve.
