Workers Compensation - Safety
Responsible for the reporting, monitoring, and administration of workers’ compensation claims throughout the United States, monitor, maintain contact with injured workers, workers compensation TPA and medical clinics, Monitor TPA’s activity in each claim to ensure action plans are in place, that action plans are followed, and proper reserving of claims, Assisted the HR department with reporting injuries; provide certificates of insurance, and general safety information. demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff, managers, and clients, explore modified work for injured workers, attended worker’s comp file reviews, responsible for all incoming subpoenas for Quiksilver, responsible for background checks through HireRight for all employees who drove company cars for Quiksilver throughout the United States, ergonomic evaluations for all employees, responsible for all safety aspects for the Distribution Center such as employee safety training, emergency response training in case of fire, earthquake, etc. Etc., safety patrol program, obtain permits through the County of Riverside for Quiksilver’s Quartly sample sales, investigate all safety incidents, opening and filing incoming mail
