I'm accountable to manage all aspects of operations and maintenance in the respective geographic area. This includes providing leadership to Area Field Operations and Maintenance Teams delivering results in the Key Areas of System Reliability, Safety and Environment, Budget, Customer Focus, Stakeholder Expectations, and Team Development. This position is responsible and accountable for supporting the two fundamental processes within Operations; the rotating equipment life-cycle engineering process headed up by the Technical Services team and the pipeline integrity process headed up by the Pipeline Integrity team. Ultimately I am accountable to ensure all approved processes are implemented consistently and that safety and environmental stewardship are upheld.• Special Projects: Team Lead for purging and loading 1500 miles of 36" line | Represented operations on the review, deployment, implementation and training of SAP | Project Manager to clean up all the construction punch lists for the US compressor stations | Operational Team Lead for getting our MAOP wavier to operate at 80% Smys in the US | Represented US and Canadian field management on safety, technical, integrity and training committees | US vehicle fleet manager | Helped create multiple documents such as: Emergency Response Plan; Lock Out Tag Out; equipment start/stop procedures; pigging launching and receiving; point to point testing.

Maintained technical skills in Controls, Measurement, Mechanical, and Cathodic Protection. Facilitated consensus-based decisions through the priorities of the team rather than the priorities of individuals. Effectively used team guidelines to empower the team members. Established and implemented team development in technical and non-technical areas. Assured the team completed all DOT calibrations and that Operator qualifications were up to date. Maintained area budget for two compressor stations. • Special Projects: Worked on the technical hiring team that filled 19 positions. Commissioned team leader for two compressor stations that had RR RB211 GG and Cooper Compressor. Commissioned lead for one RR Avon control upgrade. Was on the purge and load team for new 36” and 30” lines.

Performed operations and maintenance on turbine instrumentation, mechanics, and control systems. Installed instrumentation equipment at new and renovated sites. Evaluated and verified accuracy of existing and new measurement equipment. Participated in team budgeting, planning, decision-making, and other team processes. Assured compliance with environmental, State, Federal, and company regulations. Maintained DOT records and participated in four DOT audits. Interfaced with contractors, vendors, and the community. Responsible for all pipeline activities including pipe-to-soils, patrols, crossings, and line locating. Worked an on-call rotation. • Special Projects: Team Concept Task Force that monitored the health of Teams within Border and reported back to the VP of Operations. Vision to Action Team that worked with Senior Enron Management and assisted in developing team action plans. New construction and startup of an RR Avon GG and Cooper Compressor.
