I serve as an intermediary between the New Westminster School District and community to best support students and families in the city. I focus on creating programs that promote inclusion, engage participants, and enhance the curriculum. I recruit and manage a talented team of employees, contractors, and volunteers to accomplish the aforementioned goals. My current work interests include examining evaluation tools, trauma informed practice, and connecting partners with school district initiatives.

• Created programs for children and youth between the ages of 4 and 13• Scheduled staff members to lead ice and day camp programs• Trained and supervised staff in various recreation programs• Consulted and worked with other organizations such as the Elizabeth Fry Society, New Westminster Minor Lacrosse Association, New Westminster School District and the MEND Childhood Obesity Foundation• Created, advertised and supervised special family events at Moody Park Arena

• Utilized Ungerboeck Event Management software to book events, generate invoices, and gather reporting statistics• Assisted Sales department in marketing strategy for client meetings, banquets, and conferences• Managed Anvil Centre’s Facebook and Twitter pages • Generated financial information from Ungerboeck and J.D. Edwards to be used for budgets and management reports• Liaised between Cultural and Conference Services to ensure effective communication and no booking conflicts • Conducted payroll entry for all full time and auxiliary staff using Kronos
