Rick Borja is the Chief Innovation Officer of Go West Creative, a team of explorers who bring brand visions to life through strategic creative thinking, clear messaging, distinctive design, and unparalleled live, virtual, and hybrid event experiences. He was the third person hired by David Fischette for Audio Ecstasy Entertainment. In 2024, Rick will be celebrating 37 years as an employee.Rick has over three decades of experience in the events industry. He attributes his success to his experiences at Go West, as well as his background in theatrical and television production. Prior to becoming the Chief Innovation Officer, he held the position of Senior Vice President. In this role, Rick was responsible for driving the strategy to deliver safe, efficient, and cutting-edge event solutions to the Go West clientele. He was also Go West’s original warehouse manager, camera operator, and video editor. Rick has been at the forefront of developing nearly every technical capability and execution for Go West.In 2005, he was named Technical Producer of the Year by Event Solutions Magazine at their annual Spotlight Awards. This recognition followed the 2004 Event Producer of the Year awards presented to David Fischette and preceded the 2006 Event Company of the Year Award presented to Go West Creative.Rick also serves as Chairman of the Board of Go West Creative and has been a shareholder of the company for the past 18 years. He resides in Thousand Oaks, California with his wife Danielle and their three daughters.
