Prior to becoming a public school teacher in Orlando, I spent most of my career managing non-profit and government operated museums across our country. I have performed in administrative, supervisory, Planning, fundraising, and educational roles. At the same time, I had a parallel career as a volunteer, and occasionally paid, Firefighter/EMT. I served in a leadership role as a Lieutenant and Fire Educator. I have been an informal educator in museums and a formal educator in the fire service and in public schools.
