Responsible for establishing the future direction of TVA’s agency-wide use of information technology, ensuring alignment with TVA's mission and vision. Leads technology strategy, enterprise architecture, technology standards, and program management functions, and maintains programs for enterprise software license management and cloud sourcing. Establishes a long-term, flexible, and robust technical architecture capable of supporting the continuous deployment of advanced solutions that provide business value to the enterprise. Develops close working relationships and partnerships with other senior business executives, both internal and external, to gain insight into near-term requirements, while advising on future capabilities to support new lines of business, services, products and improved organizational processes. Leads development of long-range plans for information technology investment across the enterprise and drives the annual IT investment prioritization process in conjunction with the Enterprise IT Council. Leadership of IT project management, scheduling, reporting, and business case development, and manages enterprise-wide IT project management office.Directs a staff of approximately 100 highly technical resources and management personnel including technology architects, engineers, program managers, and project managers.Responsible for over $130M annually, including O&M and Capital projects.

Managed the work of the Revenue Billing and Power Billing departments and responsible for billing all TVA power customers, including distributors and directly served customers. Managed the accounting for all TVA power sales and revenue (>$11 billion annual sales). • Provided governance over TVA’s enterprise-wide meter to cash process, including testing over meter controls related to SOX.Assess risks and designed internal controls over all TVA metering and billing processes. • Worked across the Agency and with customers to ensure timely issuance of invoices to all power customers. Managed the recording of monthly revenue for all power customers, including preparation of unbilled sales and revenue estimates and all journal entries required to accurately record revenue. Ensured effective reporting of power revenue, including detailed analysis and reporting of revenue and variance explanations for preparation of the 10-K and 10-Q.• Managed TVA’s billing system functions and identified enhancements needed to properly bill and record power sales. • Worked with the Rate Design and Power Contracts staffs to implement new pricing products and rate designs, ensuring that all aspects of metering and billing are considered and appropriate enhancements are identified. Also responsible for accurately billing TVA incentive and credit programs.• Worked with the customer directly or Customer Service and Industrial Marketing staffs to identify and resolve billing issues and customer concerns. • Developed TVA strategy and policies and made recommendations to Senior Management. Led internal and external continuous improvement efforts. Coordinated valley-wide power revenue efforts with executives and regularly presented TVA policy to external stakeholders.

Prior Position: Manager, Stakeholder’s Compliance/Advisory June 2010- June 2011Responsible for building new assessment organizations at TVA for internal TVA programs and distributors of TVA power. In its first year of operation the Distributor Compliance team exceeded its stretch goals for number of assessments, brought clarity to ongoing regulatory compliance issues, and established a complementary internal assessment program to help improve other customer-facing organizations. All of these activities were performed at significantly less cost than budgeted allowing Distributor Compliance to reduce future budgets and contribute over $1 million in annual savings.* Built a team focused on conducting fair and reliable assessments of compliance with TVA’s power contracts, while maintaining a customer-focused remediation process.* Developed an enterprise-wide corporate strategy and specific intiatives to improve TVA’s compliance culture. * Set up the new Distributor Compliance and Stakeholders Compliance Advisory Teams for TVA; which included hiring staff, building a team culture, developing work processes, and building collaborative relationships with our business partners. * Managed staff of 20 in three locations - Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis.
