Drove corporate and client privacy practices that included evaluating internal tools, developing and implementing impact assessments and maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with the requirements of company standards and applicable privacy laws and regulations. • Oversaw preparations and remediation plans for GDPR and CCPA compliance in advance of their effective dates, giving C-Suite, clients and regulators confidence in the company’s global compliance program and enabling the business model to continue its growth trajectory.• Developed training modules for General Privacy, CAN-SPAM, CASL and TCPA. Executed all aspects of company privacy programs to provide business guidance and reviewed client marketing campaigns for compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations to ensure the integrity of the privacy program. • Facilitated the transition from the acquisition of GSI to the integration with eBay for privacy compliance for GSI global employees and clients, resulting in a seamless transition of 1,000 plus employees and over $1B in existing revenue streams to eBay.• Integrated GSI business teams with key eBay teams to consolidate and ensure privacy policies and controls were aligned with eBay business strategies mitigating and remediating regulatory risks to save the legal department time and resources by avoiding privacy-related investigations or lawsuits.• Initiated a Data Processor, Binding Corporate Rules (BCR’s) application to fulfill the adequacy requirements in GDPR to protect the newly acquired GSI business model and its associated revenues. • Developed a compliance program for eBay 1st party data to be used in combination with GSI 3rd party data for marketing purposes to enable eBay to roll out a product feature to identify and target new customers to shop on the eBay platform.• Accompanied the Government Relations team on their lobbying efforts to educate Senators and Congress members on the impact of pending privacy legislation on the economies in their respective States. • Produced a series of privacy-focused training videos to be rolled out to the global eBay employee base that resulted in one of the most successful, by views and completions, internal training program within the company.

General oversight of marketing best practices and global privacy compliance. Led and maintained the relationships with global top tier ISPs, anti-spam groups, blacklist operators, leading email industry analysts and trade organizations. • Established a privacy program from inception for e-Dialog that protected the company from the newly emerging data privacy laws and position it for an eventual equity event. • Supported the Information Security team to become ISO27001 certified and to maintain that certification going forward to open a new and lucrative channel of business with the Financial Services industry. • Oversaw relations with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) community to manage all email deliverability issues and ensure the successful delivery of clients’ email to their customers - a mission critical function for Email Service Providers.
