During this time, I was in charge of developing a sales and marketing function within a contract product design and development firm. I was successful in a 25% increase in revenue and 400% increase in new clients.

Interfacing directly with the President, together we provided a vision to "re-invent" the MOS Plastics division from a high-tech provider of custom injection molded components into a medical device component and device manufacturing company. This included rebranding the company, identifying new potential clients and developing a marketing strategy that positioned this division to be recognized as a regional leader within the medical device manufacturing industry. Contributed to a 100% growth in revenue and a nearly total new client base. Furthermore, company profitability grew from an average of 10% to over 30% due to new markets and successful multi-year contracts.

I was invited to join Lathrop Engineering with a goal to provide a sales and marketing function to a relatively unknown company. At the time, Lathrop Engineering was a small design and development firm that required both branding and exposure to the various markets within the greater bay area. During the course of 11 years, I was able to help expand Lathrop to a nationally recognized consulting firm, resulting in an increase of company revenue from 3 million in annual sales of over $20 million. Furthermore, in conjunction with the President and various project managers, I was successful in creating multi-year contracts and long term client relations.
