About Rick Campbell

Rick is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of heavy industrial operations, maintenance and construction experience. In 1987 Rick moved into the heavy oil & gas industry with Imperial Oil Resources in Cold Lake. His roles there covered Facility Engineering in support of operations, facility modifications, shutdowns and small projects. In 1997 Rick became a principle member in a small consulting firm specializing in the development of ‘strategic alliance’ and performance based relationships and supporting software. In 2001 the consulting firm was purchased by a large Alberta based contractor, Flint Energy Services Ltd. Rick became the General Manager of Technical Services, which included the Estimating, Project Controls, Quality Management, Materials & Equipment Management and Performance Measurement departments.In April of 2005 Rick took on the role of Vice President for an oilfield service company specializing in maintenance, turnarounds and small cap projects. Rick returned to Flint Energy in 2010, to project manage the Construction Integrated Services (CIS) initiative. Upon completion of the CIS project, Rick moved in to his current role as Senior Manager of Process and Tools. Flint was purchased by URS, and in October of 2014 URS was subsequently purchased by Aecom.
