I was in charge of the Listowel plant change over from Campbell Soup to Erie Meats. The plant saw a complete retrofit from soup to meat processing.The plant had under gone a complete redesign to all working areas of the floor plan of the plant to the power house, with these changes all health and safety as well as fire codes and plans had to be rewritten and registered with The Ministry of Labour (Heath and Safety) as well as the local Fire Department. I was in charge of hiring all plant staff as well as their training re: health and safety, WHMIS, lock out/ tag out, combustible containers and HASMAT. When I started at Listowel Cold Storage we had a staff of eight at the end of my contract I had hired more then three hundred staff as well as all their training. All of the plans I had written for Ministry of Labour and the Fire department were approved by the end of my term. The new equipment that was purchased all had to be registered and all PMP's were written and entered into the BOSS maintenance system this all had to be done in a six month time frame in order for the plant start up. I am also a certified trainer in WHMIS, Lock Out/ Tag Out and Combustible Containers as well as HACCP 1 and 2 certified from The University of Guelph.

My main job function was to keep track of all dealership customers over the period of their ownership of vehicles and at the end of their lease or finance of their vehicles to make an easy transition to stay with one of the two dealerships. This was a very successful and increased customer retention by 20% the first year.
