After looking at a number of professions in my younger years including architecture and personal training, I now find myself on the chosen career path that I am truly passionate about, civil engineering. After completing my studies (Bachelor of Civil Eng) in this field, I have now worked as a civil site engineer for almost 4 years. My goal now is to continue to gain as much practical experience in the civil/construction engineering department as I can through site and office based environments. In the long term I would like to progress to a senior project engineer position and then eventually move into project management. I believe my willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team, discipline and drive for improvement are all assets that will help me continue to excel in the engineering industry.
