A self-made entrepreneur, Rick Duree launched four successful businesses and had four kids by the time he was thirty. Rick has led as a professor of entrepreneurship, inspirational speaker, angel investor, TV producer, missionary, musician, martial artist, author, and community builder. He co-founded BeerSauce Shop and grew the franchise to seven (7) locations in just five (5) years. BOOK-X-CHANGE, Rick’s first entrepreneurial endeavor, was also a highly successful multi-million dollar enterprise that grew to four (4) locations across three (3) states. He founded the Duree Center for Entrepreneurship at Lindenwood University where he taught the capstone entrepreneurship MBA course for 7 years, and actively mentors several young creators ramping up their businesses. To further service the entrepreneurship ecosystem, he co-founded the accelerator and co-working space OPO Startups. Rick envisioned and spearheaded XLR8, a SaaS as well as a robust network developed to link rural and urban communities at the grassroots level connecting people to the resources and team members best suited to their needs.Rick holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis, and two Bachelor’s Degrees from Lindenwood University in Finance and International Business while graduating Cum Laude with Honors.
