My professional career was spent in various roles within Shell’s European and Global operations. For 14 years the positions were primarily focussed on Sales, Marketing and Business operations, engaging directly with external customers, ranging from owners of small businesses to CEOs of multinational organisations in the United Kingdom. The recent years have been in Marketing and IT Service management, beginning with the provision of management information and marketing tools to the businesses, followed by a global role leading Knowledge and Information management for one of Shell’s divisions.My recent roles have been in the global IT function, looking after, rolling out and developing the portfolio of collaboration services across the enterprise, and subsequently operating key value adding IT services to the enterprise.I am currently building a private property portfolio working in the education and public health sector. I am also still open to part time consultancy work where remote working is feasible. I have a proven record of delivering both hard commercial targets but also in roll-out of process, procedures and tools. I enjoy complexity but remain focused on tangible deliverables. I have experience of senior stakeholder management, implementation of change and a cross cultural environment. I also have experience of managing teams and also coaching business behaviours both of direct reports and peers which is key to implementing the business cultural change which unlocks the value of Knowledge Management and Collaborative working.Specialities: I have significant experience in the deployment & delivery of practical solutions based on best practice across a large multinational, and of embedding the required behavioural change across organisations.
