We work directly with our clients to ascertain project needs, troubleshoot problems, and determine/execute solutions to ensure your project succeeds. Program, design fixturing, source tooling, and create setup sheets for CNC mills (3, 4, & 5 axis), CNC lathes (+Y w/ live tooling), and CNC routers. Create a new tool-naming convention and assist in the restructure of the companies tool room and tool management software. Create file naming standards and structure. Create SOP's and work instructions to aid current and future employees to follow protocol. Train CNC operators as well as fellow programmers in machining / programming.

My primary duties are to design fixturing, program, and supervise the machining of aerospace parts in a job-shop atmosphere. We are a small company and as such we all "wear many hats." We have to work in-tune with one another as well as being extremely independent. Anything involved in running the business falls on all of our shoulders. Other than my regular tasks I also design and currently maintain a job planning and management system with high success. Design of complex fixturing solutions and their implementation into our shop floor and operation protocol is also one of my long-standing tasks. Constant improvement of process, planning, organization, documentation, and programming/machining efficiency is a part of my routine and passion at Pro2Pro.

Analyze incoming part files and drawings for CNC machining and machineshop workflow. Program, test, and run parts on 3 and 4 axis vertical milling centers. Design and fabricate tooling and fixtures for parts to be run both in-house as well as outsourced. Assist bending and forming department in construction of press-brake dies. Work with multiple departments and upper management to advance workflow and efficiency. Maintain machineshop workspace and flow. Edit/write CAM post processors to streamline g-code and operator instructions.

Work with local manufacturers and organizations to revitalize the manufacturing industry of Northern California. Act as a CNC machining and g-code instructor for local high school teachers. Assist local educators in setting up manufacturing curricula for the future stakeholders of our industry.

Act as a manufacturing consultant for internal and external customers. Facilitate growth in education and experience of students and company employees through hands-on training and delegation of work tasks. Lead draftsman, CNC programmer, and manufacturing technician. Coordinate shop restructure and 5-S implementation. Aid faculty in implementation of curricular changes.

Review and improve efficiency of current CNC cutting processes. Revise CAM software's post processor to post code more efficiently. Optimize g-code for production parts to decrease cycle time and maximize cut efficiency. Create standard file naming conventions and protocols for all CAM operations.

Worked as a temporary hire to assist in the production and documentation of a prototype loom. Created and revised CAD drawings to company standards using SolidWorks. MIG welded steel assemblies and sub-assemblies to spec. Worked to program and operate a CNC milling center for short-run production parts.

Created technical drawings of exterior cladding systems for commercial buildings using AutoCAD. Worked with lead draftsman to create mechanical mounting systems and project estimates. Operated as a quality controller for project blueprints.
