Mentored new developers. Led PeopleSoft upgrade projects. Supported Peoplesoft 8.3, 8.9 and 9.1. Created PeopleSoft components, SQRs, applied tax updates and HRMS bundles. Performed any adhoc activities required to comply with audits and then automated them. Created applications in ColdFusion and Java for budgeting, document imaging, preventive maintenance, workers comp claims etc. Maintained public website and intranet for SEC organization. Created change management system to help comply with Sarbanes Oxley. Assisted corporate accountants in creating alogrithms for month end accruals and centralizing the accrual process. This reduced our month end close to a 2 or 3 day process.

PeopleSoft support and development. Maintained public website and intranet. Used Crystal Reports, ColdFusion, PLSQL and other languages to solve business needs. For example, i) a cash forecasting system that used data from our actual and forecasted shipments and reduced manual calculations weekly by 20 hours ii) a mobile device management system that tied mobile devices to employees and their cost centers for GL allocation purposes iii) and an hourly time entry system that interfaced with PeopleSoft to avoid costly implementation of PeopleSoft Time and Labor product.

Created Fidelity interface for PeopleSoft with SQR. Converted financial system of multi entities from Oracle Financials to Great Plains Dynamics using Integration Manager. Instructed web development courses for co-workers. Researched development tools and decided which ones were appropriate for our organization. Tools included FoxWeb, WebDB, MSAccess, PHP, and MySQL. Chose to use Crystal Reports, ColdFusion, and PLSQL to create applications. For example i) a Daily Direct Mining Cost application that warehoused data from Maximo, Oracle Financials, time entry systems and other applications that allowed management to make timely business decisions based on financial data ii) and a web based shipment tracking and invoicing application that was Y2K compliant.

Supported network users, maintained NT servers, used Visual FoxPro 5.0 for some utilities such as a stock application. Taught courses in NAPO Academy such as networking and TCP/IP fundamentals. Part of project upgrading hubs and switches in Ashland, KY office.

Developed oil and gas application on Psion handheld with OPL/ODE that enabled well tenders to gather field metrics and upload to corporate office via BBS. Visual FoxPro 3.0 development. Used HTML, CGI, and FoxWeb to create an Intranet. Used Software Developer Kit for Visual Basic 3.0 and Field Notes by Penmetrics to locate gas and oil wells via GPS. Desktop support, RAID 5 Novell server support. Held monthly user group at work to educate and train computer users.

Assisted users in coding BASIC, PASCAL, WATFIV FORTRAN and ASSEMBLY. Maintained computer labs.
