I am a Legal Director in Addleshaw Goddard's Commercial Disputes team, based in London. I joined the Addleshaw Goddard team in August 2023, after 12 years with the International Arbitration Group of Allen & Overy. I am a specialist in international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration and related court proceedings. I also have substantial experience of litigation before the English courts and in providing advice to clients during the execution of transactions and at the outset of a dispute.I have experience of managing complex, high-value, cross-border arbitrations under the rules of a variety of arbitral institutions (LCIA, ICC, SIAC, UNCITRAL, CIArb and ICSID) and for clients located in various jurisdictions. I have acted on a broad range of disputes, including in the energy, natural resources, TMT and hospitality sectors.I received my Higher Rights of Audience in 2015 and have experience of conducting my own advocacy. I have spoken and published extensively on topics relating to international arbitration and was the founder and editor-in-chief of the international arbitration blog at my previous firm. I sit on the Young Arbitration Group’s Global Advisory Board for CIICA, an arbitration institution in PakistanI am based in London, having spent time on international secondment in Singapore (as an Associate for 1 year) and in Bucharest, Romania (as a trainee for 6 months).
