In the Business to Business platform, responsible for managing existing retail mortgage broker accounts and securing new broker accounts. Initiated contact with over 500 inactive or dormant accounts and was able to secure a level of new business which more than doubled the production volume after taking over the territory. I worked for several wholesale lenders including Lehman Brothers subsidiaries of BNC and Finance America, Harbourton Mortgage Investment Corp. and a stretch in Commercial Wholesale with Interbay Funding which was a subsidiary of Bayview Financial. I departed each company as they succumbed to the demise of the Mortgage industry meltdown and went out of business. After seeing so much of my efforts go unrewarded by the company failures in the industry, I decided to leave the wholesale side of the business and return to the retail side of the mortgage industry.

Originated conventional, government and subprime mortgages throughout the country, excelled in business development and relationship building with various sources of referral partners and developed an extensive book of business through those relationships. In 1998 I was transferred to Denver Colorado and promoted to Regional Sales Manager where I developed a team of 20 plus originators, trained them on business development techniques that were successful in my past business building efforts. Developed the region into one of the top producing satellite offices for the company. In 2000 I was one of the key people in Building and developing a Real Estate company to work in conjunction with the Mortgage company. Became the regional operations manager of that Real Estate company. Additional responsibilities that came with this new position was to open and develop several other locations in the west, including Phoenix Arizona and Las Vegas Nevada. Each of the 3 offices grew to a staff of over 20 plus agents. The Real Estate offices became a main source of business for the mortgage company.

Marketed fiber optic phone solutions to major businesses around the Chicagoland area. Instrumental in the developing the initial sales and implementation of the MFS (Metropolitan Fiber System) communication network throughout the Chicago and Northern Illinois area and subsequently involved in the launch of MCI Worldcom’s communication network in Illinois

Main responsibilities were to take in doctor’s orders for prescriptions and make sure they were carefully measured out and mixed to the orders and ready for the nurses within our network to take and administer to their patients
