RICK GILLVice President – Consumer R&D – McCormick & Co.Rick Gill is Vice President, Consumer R&D – Americas. Prior to this, Mr. Gill spent several years in Europe as the head of McCormick Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) Technical. Since joining McCormick in 2003, he has held a variety of technical roles within the company and has lead Quality and R&D functions, both domestically and internationally. During his tenure at McCormick, Mr. Gill has held several management roles including Vice President of Technical and R&D, EMEA and Vice President of Technical U.S. Consumer Foods. Prior to joining the McCormick team, Mr. Gill worked for several major food companies such as Kraft Foods, Nabisco, Inc., LifeSavers Candy, and Frito-Lay, Inc. where he held progressively responsible positions in the technical, quality, and R&D fields.Mr. Gill earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and a Masters in Technical Management from The Stevens Institute of Technology. Mr. Gill is a Certified Food Scientist (CFS) professional and has served on the Penn State Food Science Advisory Board and is a past member of the International Food Technologist Society. Mr. Gill Holds a US Inventor Patent for 'Filler Cream Composition for Reduced Fat Sandwich Cookies' issued March, 1997.
