Dr. Giovengo is an Organizational Psychologist with specialization in:-Human performance technology-Research-Instructional Systems Design-Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Standards-Stress reduction for law enforcement officersDr. Giovengo was a Senior Research Analyst for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Dr. Giovengo has 32 years of law enforcement experience as both a state law enforcement officer and a federal agent, and 15 years of experience in many different aspects of training law enforcement officers. His specialized skills include: undercover investigations, criminal investigations, personnel development, leadership, and training. As an Academy Chief he designed the Covert Operator Selection School, which was considered a top undercover school in federal law enforcement training. He also currently serves as an assessor for certifying law enforcement training courses for the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.Dr. Giovengo's leadership experience led him to become an adjunct instructor for the Federal Law Enforcement Leadership Institute from 2004-2009.
