I retired from education in 2008, then worked in the composites industry for several years, and now I love being a substitute teacher!

• Manage a composites materials warehouse in Ontario, CA via Internet connection. • Responsible for tracking and ordering all domestically acquired inventory items.• Manage national purchasing agreements for 4 major suppliers.• Process sales orders for sales representatives.• Produce and distribute weekly sales and inventory reports.• Invoice accounts as sales orders are processed and shipped, and manage accounts receivables.• Credit manager for Spectra Composites and sister companies.• Provide support for sales force, and provide customer support via email and the phone.

• Supervised/evaluated 35 certified staff, 11 classified staff, and 510 students.• Researched, acquired, and implemented Study Island®, Accelerated Reader®, Accelerated Math®, STAR Reading® and STAR Math® at Hubble, Webster, and Shook Elementary Schools.• Conducted staff training in use of Smart Board®, Accelerated Reader®, Accelerated Math®, STAR Reading®, STAR Math®, and various Microsoft Office® applications. Also designed templates and forms for teachers and administrators to access via the district computer network.• Certified staff/parent trainer for “Teaching and Discipline With Love and Logic®” (Cline/Fay Institute) Faculty/Staff “Teaching and Discipline With Love and Logic®” presentations: Strafford, Seneca, Sarcoxie, Conway, Nixa, Marshfield, Southwest Center for Educational Excellence, Webb City.• Teacher/facilitator for “Becoming A Love and Logic Parent®” sponsored by Marshfield R-1 School District.• Accelerated Schools Coach 1997-1999.• Professional Learning Communities Coach 2006-2008• Initiated interview process for faculty vacancies using teacher input and participation.

• Taught K-5 vocal music, as well as 6th grade music for 4 of those years.• Provided a monthly music performance for PTSG Meetings (Parent/Teacher Support Group)• Produced a major music production involving two grade levels each winter and spring.• Received and administered $50,000 Technology Acquisition Grant while in Seneca. Designed and built local area network for the elementary school. Installed software, purchased computers, and managed network.
