I am the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MIRASCO, a global network distributing frozen meat commodities and animal feed ingredients primarily from North and South American producers to importers, distributors and further processors in key world markets. I help define Mirasco’s overall corporate strategy and manage the company’s financial and management accounting professionals to provide continuous access to relevant financial performance measures.A long career in public accounting prepared me for my role in business operations. I spent nearly 30 years with Grant Thornton, LLP, an international accounting firm, where I was the Tax Practice leader for the Atlanta office as well as a member of the National Tax Leadership Team.I have taken a leadership role in community service. I am a past board chair of the Center for Family Resources and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kennesaw State University Foundation. I was previously the board chair of the Cobb Community Foundation, and I have been a Kiwanian, a Crown Ministries Financial Program group leader, and a member of the advisory board of the Kennesaw State University Accounting School.
