I began my professional career in the boating industry serving as Bill of Materials Engineer and Warehouse Manager with Sea Ray Boats and Purchasing Manager with Chris-Craft Boats (yacht division). With several plant closings in the industry and upon my second, returned to school to complete my bachelor's degree.Since, I have been with the same organization for nearly 30 years serving as director of four separate departments and in a leadership/supervisory capacity my entire tenure while additionally serving as Purchasing Agent and 17 years as IT Systems Administrator. This also included eight years as Director of Finance and Human Resources plus 11 years as Materials Manager (purchasing, inventory, and fleet).My most notable strengths are department and employee management, procurement, external relations, information technology administration, and budget and data tracking development and analysis - especially via Microsoft Excel.I am also a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
