Manage a 1600 piece collection of art on an ongoing basis. This includes appraisal for insurance coverage, keeping a catalogue of the collection current, as well as collection database, purchase, and selling advice.

In partnership with Waddington’s Auctioneers provided appraisal and collection management to their VIP clients.

The gallery is a world class gallery that deals exclusively with traditional and contemporary art from the Canadian Arctic. Its collections range from exquisite small sculptures dating from the mid-twentieth century, to paintings and drawings by todays sought after contemporary artists. My responsibilities there were sales and marketing, as well as development of client management. During my time there I had the good fortune of meeting and working with some of the most important personalities in the Inuit art world, including Kenojuak Ashevak and Annie Pootoogook; two very important artists that spanned two generations, and were pioneers in their art forms.

Located in historic Gastown in Vancouver, this gallery introduces museum quality Inuit and Northwest Coast art to International and local collectors. I was the senior sales associate and my duties included selling to and educating the international clientele, and developing and maintaining the local collector base.
