As Project Lead for the Sheridan College Virtual Internship Program, I managed 6 multidisciplinary teams of co-op students through the Design Thinking process in order to produce 6 unique and creative solutions for a community partner. Using Universal Design Learning principles, I contributed to the ongoing iteration and development of workbooks to guide students through the design process, developed and hosted multiple workshops, and facilitated stakeholder meetings. I also created instructional videos to support students' understanding of the content in workbooks and activities.

Project co-lead on a pilot program to develop and launch Interactive Student Handbooks from the initial ideation phase to completion through the Human Centred Design process. I also supported departmental EDID changes through workshop facilitation and resource creation.

Supporting departmental EDID changes, and supporting and researching workforce development initiatives and program ecosystems. As well, project lead on a pilot program to explore & design interactive program guides based on student feedback around personalized and tailored experiences to better support student success.

Sheridan College runs a Virtual Internship Program called the Innovation Accelerator as a coop program for Sheridan Students. My role as a returning Portfolio Lead is helping mentor and support my fellow Portfolio Leads as they facilitate and lead their multidisciplinary teams through their design challenges, helping create, design, and provide supplementary resources to support the teams, and working on my own research on Human Centered Design through the program.

Designing and organzing events and content to increase awareness around Academic Integrity at Sheridan College for students and faculty as well as creating social media posts and stories.

During my time at Sheridan as a student in the Interaction Design Program, I worked in various roles supporting students as both a Program Tutor and In-Class Peer Assisted Learning (PAL)/Learning Assistant (LA). Main responsibilities included helping explain course materials, supporting student understanding, and providing group tutoring sessions along with 1-on-1 tutoring. I also worked as a Student Associate at the Tutoring Centre, helping connect tutor and students together.

Sheridan College ran a Virtual Internship Program called the Innovation Accelerator where I worked as a Portfolio Lead. My role included designing and leading workshops and webinars, holding weekly progress meetings with four multidisciplinary teams, and facilitating meetings and presentations between the teams and the client organization. The purpose of this program was to develop four unique proposals for our Collaborator using the Human Centered Design process.

The Sheridan IXDA (Interaction Design Association) is an important part of the Interaction Design community at Sheridan. We focus on providing students with a friendly and nurturing culture within the Interaction Design program. We do this by connecting students across different and previous years, hosting design-related events and encouraging growth through mentorship and industry relations.We host a number of major annual events, including First-Year Orientation, Design Challenges, Game nights, and our End of Year Social, with industry speakers. This year, we have worked hard to redesign these events for an online environment as well as work closely with international students to help make sure they still feel connected with the community.
