About Rick Kramer

Within the Building Services chair at Eindhoven University of Technology, we aim for healthy, comfortable and sustainable buildings by integrating data science and machine learning with knowledge on HVAC design, commissioning, and control. My research focuses on the role of dynamically controlled indoor climate variations to support human metabolic health, address individual comfort needs, decrease the energy demand and unlock energy flexibility. At DYSECO we develop smart control solutions for museums, archives and libraries that balance collection conservation, thermal comfort, and historic building conservation with the lowest energy demand possible (Based on scientific research from TUE).
