Responsible for yearly pipeline integrity inspections to detect and eliminate potential leak sites on all pipelines under MPUC and PHMSA regulations. Managed the pipeline maintenance integrity system in accordance with DOT regulations. Performed yearly internal inspections and analysis of the 5 pipeline systems as required. Directly responsible for the corporate compliance to all active and future licenses and permits required under city, state, and federal regulations.

Project engineering and design consulting services for Pulp & Paper customers located in Maine. Responsible for the design and installation of miscellaneous projects such as Vacuum Water Recovery System, 850# Steam PRV Reducing Stations, Pulp dryer stock feed systems, Boiler Ash Removal Systems, Oil Unloading Stations and Treatment plant modifications.

Contracts with both Pfizer Inc. & Jefferson Smurfit to provide project management services to support capital project installations. Projects included PM services for the installation and start-up of a new chemical processing facility in Groton, CT. Acted as one of a 20 project manager team developed for the erection of a $250M Organic Synthesis Plant. Supported the development and implementation of a yearly capital budget for a board mill located in Circleville, OH. Managed miscellaneous projects ranging from capital improvements through mill ADA compliance.

Performed engineering consulting services for the analysis and repair of corrosion effected structures in the Pulp & Paper and Chemical Industries. Published detailed investigative reports analyzing customer corrosion issues and corrective actions for deterioration in concrete, steel, and tile structures. Developed and implemented specifications for the repairs to customer facilities and coordinated the field construction management of designs and repair methods.

Old Town, Maine

Acted as Technical Assistant on the Tissue Machines and Utilities Area Project Engineer. As Technical Assistant, supported the day to day operation of two fully integrated tissue machines, producing 180 paper tons per day. Responsibilities included steam system improvements, color change and converting trials, operator training, fill-in shift supervision and improvement projects. Responsibilities as Utilities engineer included capital budget development and expenditure, maintenance fill-in supervision, mill contact for an emergency recovery boiler rebuild and maintenance project coordinator.
