I am a software engineer, but my goal is not to create software. My goal is to empower individuals. 👍I write software that doesn’t replace human wisdom and judgement, it enhances it.Software and machines are excellent at performing repetitive logic and tasks. But we humans are the intelligence that should guide those systems to ensure they are performing as designed.Even more, I believe we should be building systems that enhance our humanity. We must focus our energy and time on building relationships full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.That is what we are meant to be: a family that works together for mutual benefit. As a software engineer, my goal is to create systems that allow us to do so.For business software: this means eliminating the monotonous busy-work that wastes time, discovering solutions for the recurring problems that wreak our productivity, and making our every day tasks clean and efficient.Let’s work together to make our labor a joy to perform! 🛠🎯🚀—-On a personal note, my wife and I have four kids with the oldest a teenager. We believe in serving our community together. We work together with multiple community programs with our church family. I also teach there a few times a week, but my favorite time is teaching 4th graders on Wednesday night.
