With over 30 years experience, Rick brings a wealth of expertise in group management, supplier relationships and an accomplished background in travel marketing. His focus is raising the bar in professional travel services with some of the most experienced and talented specialists in the industry. “Our greatest priority is our team. With a happy team we will always have happy customers.”Rick opened an independent travel agency in the town of Beaumont, Alberta in 1987. He later merged his business with another independent agency and then joined the UNIGLOBE Travel franchise in 1990. In 1998 Rick returned to college to continue his studies, graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2000 with a diploma in Computer Systems Technology. He returned to the travel industry in 2000 as Partner – Director of Marketing & Groups with Uniglobe Geo Travel. Rick led a groups department with a strong emphasis on customized experiences and destination weddings. Rick and his team managed several hundred groups annually and received numerous awards and accolades from the top tour operators, resorts, and airlines in Canada.Cancer and mental health have changed our lives forever at Network Travel. We’ve lost some of our closest friends and family due to these very difficult illnesses. Each year we host a charity golf event in support of the Alberta Cancer Foundation and Alberta Mental Health.
