I serve as Deputy Operations Officer provide strategic guidance and leadership for world-wide Operations Center.

United States Army Africa (USARAF), also known as the Southern European Task Force (SETAF), was the United States Army service component command of United States Africa Command. USARAF's headquarters has been in Italy since 1955 and has a long history of operating on the African continent and partnering with African nations. During the past 15 years, SETAF has provided crisis response, disaster relief and humanitarian assistance on the continent. As Chief Information Officer, I supported the operations and activities there and interests of the US Africa Command of 30+ million square miles and more than a billion people. I oversaw network operations and defense of Army networks in Europe and Africa.

I directed all DISA Global Joint operations and missions and received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for leading DISA’s largest operations center and providing secure and resilient command and control.

The 2nd Theater Signal Brigade is a military communications brigade of the United States Army subordinate to the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command with headquarters at Lucius D. Clay Kaserne, Germany. The Brigade provides strategic and tactical signal support in the European Theater. We provided Network &Cyber Security Services and communications for over thirty thousands European customers.

Served as Battalion Commander for 69th Signal Battalion and provided strategic communications and information management services including automation, telecommunications and War Fighter exercise support to EUCOM, USAREUR, 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command, Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Joint Multinational Simulations Center, 2d Stryker Calvary Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, 172nd Infantry Brigade, BSAST Romania, and six separate US Army Garrison operations consisting of 72 percent of all US Forces in Europe over 20,000 square mile area in Germany. Oversaw training, safety, administration, and transformation for 158-personnel battalion consisting of Soldiers, Department of the Army Civilians, and German National civilians.

Office of the Inspector General monitors and tracks the use of taxpayer dollars through audits, inspections, evaluations, and investigations. The Inspector General keeps the Secretary of Commerce and Congress fully and currently informed about problems and deficiencies relating to Commerce's activities and the need for corrective action.

Served as an Information Technology and Communications integrator for the LANDWARNET Directorate of the US Army G-3/5/7 Operations Staff. Planned and coordinated the execution and integration efforts for the service-wide Network Integration Evaluation events. Prioritized, coordinated and synchronized all Army activities related to the Agile Process of network capabilities integration into the operational force. Engaged and provided oversight across the Army staff to ensure network goals and objectives were being addressed and functionally tested in an integration event. Prepared strategic communications for external audiences to include Senior Army staff and the House and Senate Armed Services Committees.

Deputy CIO for the 2d Infantry Division. Advised organizational Senior Executives on the employment and use of all command, control, communications and computer operations. Responsible for all garrison communications support and directed the forward command post's cyber operations.

Served as the principle C4I advisor to the Kuwait Armed Forces (KAF) for all computer and data communications systems. Assisted in the development of plans, policies, systems requirements, engineering, acquisitions and the implementation and testing of data systems. Provided joint level operational direction while coordinating KAF data communications with US communications systems.

Served as the Team Chief of an Information Operations (IO) Vulnerability Assessment Team (VAT 0 Blue Team). Responsible for the planning, deployment and execution of a ten-person multi-disciplinary full spectrum team in support of holistic network vulnerability assessments.
