I have always been in the Quad City area, growing up in the City of Green Rock (now Colona), moving to Geneseo when I was 37 and am now back in Colona a short 6 years later.I have been in the Civil Engineering field for 23 years, as Beling Consultants guided me through the ranks and allowed me a great opportunity to live life and start a family, my passion for engineering was fueled. I later worked for a small Iowa based engineering firm, Ament, Inc. while I continued to grow and gain more experience. When coming to Shive-Hattery, it was quickly learned that I had found a home...yet my own ambitious nature led me to explore a career in government employment in which I worked for the City of East Moline for 3 years as the Assistant Director of Engineering. They say that you always come back home, and I found myself back at Shive-Hattery after those three years. I am enjoying every minute of it and love being back!On a personal note, I have a great wife, Gena, of 23 years and enjoy nurturing my children, Sydney (12), Isabella (8), and Carson (8). God has blessed me more than I deserve!
