• Led a 10-person Global team responsible for Corporate PMO, Cost Management, Software, Training, Technical Writing and Document Control, and Factory Design programs.
• My PMO managed a PAC portfolio of EHS, Cost, Operations, Eng/Const, Process Safety, Sustainability projects that impact multiple sites. Maintaining project governance, roadmaps, priorities, resourcing & management.
• As a member of Micron’s core M&A team I’ve actively participated in multiple company mergers, acquisitions, and sales. Supporting due diligence, and business integration of Elpedia (JPN), Rexchip (TWN) & Inotera (TWN).
• Facilitated the yearly global Facilities Summit. Guiding Directors from 13 sites review of our prior year’s performance. And establishing priorities and associated projects for the next year.
• Our cost team managed $2b+ Capital/Expense budget programs and metrics for 13 mfg sites. These Cost programs realized in more than $100m in savings.
• Led Zero Based Analysis (ZBA) project with multiple sites to identify best in class, Gaps to BIC, Opportunities to align to BIC, and Actions to close the gap to BIC. Identifying multiple operational improvement.

• Developed and maintained Micron’s global factory production layout design guidelines and BKMs. Performed strategic design reviews of our factories to identify opportunities to optimize production floor space efficiency.
• Developed production space utilization and output efficiency metrics to identify our factory network BIC, and gaps to BIC.
• Collaborated with outside industry peer groups (ISMI, SEMI, ITRS/IRDS, etc.) to maintain visibility to emerging technologies and best practices.
• Increased global factory space efficiency by 15%ron network.

- Established a Global Program Management Office (PMO). Responsible for managing global projects and programs that affect multiple sites. Coordinated with project managers on key PMO touch points. Overseeing project governance and project health metrics reporting. Responsible for coordinating management reviews. Facilitating project roadmap selection.

Boise, Idaho Area

• Provide global mfg sites detailed strategic factory layout design and ramp project support to optimize their existing and future ramp plans. As well as Maintaining and disseminating production design standards, BKMs.
• Worked with the design team in Taiwan to develop their layout model design standards and establish a drawing communication process.
• Managed project which determined the full ramp wafer outs capability for the site.
• Tracked value engineering opportunities with a realized saving of over $1mil USD.MeiYa (Taiwan) – 200mm to 300mm Conversion
• Designed the Taiwan Fab architectural and equipment layouts.
• Coordinated the development of the on-line portal which facilitated design collaboration between the JV’s and the A&E.

Manassas, Virginia

I established the site’s first project management office PMO. Established a formal governance process for project justification, approval, tracking and close out. Facilitated regular reviews with project managers and site management.

Japan

• 1 yr expat assignment. Established the site’s IE space planning CAD and project management group.
• Managed a yearly Fab shutdown project where I was able to cut the production impact by 12 hours, saving over $1mil USD.
