Member of the Website Development Services team in the Health and Human Services division. * As a member of the BFD team that supported the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) BlueButton FHIR Data model, I improved existing Jenkinsfile groovy scripts to be able to run with default values when running for the first time. This improved the build efficiency by 50%.* Worked on a task to migrate existing PostgreSQL tables from the public schema to a new schema and update the corresponding Flyway scripts.* As a member of the CMS Learn team, I supported the backend Drupal and frontend React/Typescript application that runs in the Gatsby framework. Each of the components run in Docker containers.

Worked in an Agile Scrum team closely with technology teams at various financial institutions to install, configure, enhance and support the Cyber Fraud and Risk Management SaaS product. This included clusters for the front-end and back-end application itself, as well as the database and other components such as an ElasticSearch or OpenSearch cluster. Responsibilities included on-call rotation and production debugging with customers.* Developed ETLs in Java utilizing Spring Boot and Spring Batch to load client banks transactions and associated data into the CFRM database for fraud analysis. Over 10000 transactions were analyzed daily.* Developed a suite of Linux bash shell scripts to run on clients’ Jenkins installation to facilitate automated deployment of the CFRM Application in their differing environments with a goal of becoming fully CI/CD. * Developed Terraform HCL scripts to multiple server types for provisioning via Puppet and Atlantis in local cloud environments for customer’s implementing the CFRM platform using the Blue/Green deployment methodology.* Utilize GPG to encrypt Hiera name/value pairs for Puppet configuration. Developed a bash script to automatically decrypt encrypted transaction data for ingestion into the CFRM platform.

Work with a team of developers to create a web app for the customer support team. Spring Boot and Spring Security were used to provide the MVC framework. TDD and CI/CD methods were utilized for all of the backend development. Added SSO capabilities by integrating Spring Security with Okta’s SSO offering.

Led a scrum team responsible for automated communications between the Skyword360 SaaS CMP and the client’s CMS.* Created a Single Sign On solution using SAML2.0 or OpenId to allow the client’s identity provider to authenticate users into the Skyword platform.* Published content created in the Skyword360 platform to the customers CMS. Architected direct integrations for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Wordpress, and Drupal. Participated in developing a REST API was available for customers to pull approved content themselves.* Developed and maintained a Wordpress plugin, Drupal module and AEM package to handle the client’s side of the publishing process. In addition to creating content, this included the ability to synchronize taxonomies between the systems as well as create new authors.* Developed a method of providing multilingual spell and grammar checking for up to 12 different languages.* Performed biannual performance reviews of team members.* Worked closely with technical writers to create documentation for internal and client audiences.

Worked as a full stack developer building the Skyword360 SaaS content marketing application from the ground up.* Developed an interface into BigStock, now Shutterstock, to enable keyword searches for stock photos that users can embed in content. The interface allowed users to crop or shrink mages, and it automatically purchased the images when content was approved for publication.* Built the web front end and database tables for multiple application pages, using Struts2 as the MVC framework.* Designed, created and developed any database access points needed.* Developed complicated queries to provide clients with complex performance analytics.

Worked as a full stack developer building the Gather social media site.* Developed a system for displaying ads on the site targeted to the interests of the person viewing the content* Developed a user search system, utilizing facets and facet values to identify users with similar interests.
