Rick has operated a successful solo law firm since January 1987. He spent his first year after being sworn in as an attorney (11/85) working as an associate for two law firms, then hung his shingle in downtown Denver (1/87), where he remains to date. Rick has honed his practice such that virtually 100% of his cases are related to all issues arising from divorce and family law. Rick is a longtime member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, including the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He was elected to the executive council of the Family Law Section and served from 2001-2003. Rick is a frequent speaker for the Colorado Bar at continuing legal education seminars, and he contributed as an author to the Colorado Domestic Relations Forms book.
