Working closely with top management in the development of communications solutions, I was chiefly responsible to ensure that all outgoing materials were in keeping with the organization’s brand identity and strategic directions and that they projected the desired look and feel. In addition to having a solid background in managing multiple projects simultaneously, I have direct experience dealing with external services and have supervised support staff when necessary. Responsible for the design, production and illustration of a wide array of print and exhibit collateral while working with Scouts Canada, including the design and production of Scouting Life Magazine (formerly the Canadian Leader Magazine).Provided concept development through to final product designs to Scouts Canada National Retail Services and the Fundraising department, resulting in a marked increase in revenues. This work included providing design for product packaging and visuals for point of purchase merchandising.In addition to my skills as a graphic designer, I possess a solid background in animation, including storyboarding live action. This experience may prove beneficial if the need arises for providing creative concepts for potential web and multimedia projects.
