Interested in becoming a pipeline inspector in the future.Job Related Knowledge and EducationI have been with Northern Natural Gas for 34 years. During this time I have attended multiple training courses, taken multiple computer based training modules ranging from Safety, Environmental, Mechanical, TEG Dehydration, AC and DC Circuits, Human Resource, Effective Delegation, Conflict Management, and many more.In 2005 excepted the Team Leader position at the Northern Natural Gas a gas transmission facility, Mullinville Compressor station with responsibilities for two GMWH-8 2700 HP, four GMWA-8 2000 HP, and one G.E.LM1500 Turbine 12,500 HP units, includes over 300 miles of pipeline, town boarder stations, interconnects, farm taps, and rectifiers, fuel heater, boiler, gas cooling tower, heat exchangers, disposal well, and much more.Participated in several DOT Audits, environmental audits, completed piping modifications in several areas that included 20” up to 36” pipe at Mullinville, abandonment of the Mullinville Horizontal units cutting all piping away from all horizontals, served as the point person for Northern Natural Gas on the separation of the KSM20402 M680B Line from Northern Natural Gas due to the DCP purchase of the line, multiple line repairs on the M680 lines, pipe coating inspections on discharge piping, farm tap removals, farm tap installations, siphon installations, hot taps, engine and compressor overhauls, re-grouts on engine and compressor foundations, ground bed installations, NORM Testing, and environmental record keeping. Due to employees being promoted to other jobs I am taking care of all the corrosion responsabilities, reading rectifiers, repairing rectifiers, repairs to the Bull Horns on the rectifiers, annual P/S surveys, monthly tasks associated with the pipeline, leak detection, shorted casings, class locations. I have been the Environmental back up point person for the team. Completed NACE CP 1 in 2018.
