As the Chief Operations Officer, I work with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and business development. I set the corporate growth agenda by defining strategy and turning that strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth.I’m responsible for building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met. My responsibilities include establishing goals for corporate revenue, staff professional development, and specific performance metrics that define success. This includes development of actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with CHRONOS Systems growth objectives. I oversee operations and manage capital investment to ensure the company achieves its greatest return on investments. I maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers/clients and partners in order to grow the business.

Specializing in commercial services that support secure cloud services, blockchain DevSecOps, and Smart City solutions. International service agreements provide the company with global reach that includes the Gulf Cooperation Council.Recently provided consulting services to Advanced Systems Developments (ASD) to support the installation and develop a training package for the cyber analytics platform Vetra Cognito in support of the US Army’s Cyber Blitz 2019 Indo-Pacific training exercise hosted at Ft Dix, NJ Cyber Range. Developed draft FISMA artifacts to support compliance requirements for integration into the Army’s WIN-T data lake architecture.

As the DMI CISO/DPO, I was the company’s thought leader in information security. I established the information security strategy for DMI and Chaired the Company’s Risk Management Committee (RMC). Directed the implementation and monitoring of information security standards and policies to ensure DMI was compliant with NIST 800-171 (DFARS) policy, led SOC2 certification for projects supporting the State of Maryland, as well as implemented GDPR compliance for international operations. I provided information security guidance to the executive leadership and the Corporate Audit Committee by recommending information security investments which mitigate risks, strengthen managed services and cloud-based defenses, and reduced vulnerabilities for enterprise application development and systems engineering solutions for both internal and client facing systems and products. I implemented the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) to guide the information security priorities for the disparate business units to not only protect DMI Corporate infrastructure, but customer operational systems as well.I deployed enterprise continuous monitoring cloud-based security-as-a-service (CSOC) for 2,500 users across 14 physical locations including DMI international offices in India, Spain, and the UK. This risk management initiative helped meet DMI’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) mandates for Federal and Commercial obligations for ethical ecommerce transactions.

Served as Senior Vice President, C4IS Solutions for DMI, where I managed the profit and loss (P&L) portfolio generating ~$45M/annually and was responsible for operations, quality of service, and customer satisfaction for four large IDIQ contracts (ranging in TCV from $90M - $2B) with approximately 200 employees. My team focused on delivering IT mission support to the Departments of Homeland Security (DHS), Defense (DOD) and the Intelligence Community (DIA/NSA). Led the corporate initiative for Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) as a managed cyber-security platform under the DHS CDM/CMaaS contract.

Worked National Security initiatives that included customers from Healthcare/TRICARE Management Activity (HA/TMA) 3rd party certification and accreditation (C&A) risk assessments, Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and R&D for the Unisys STEALTH cyber security services platform. Supported bid and proposal efforts for a broad range of opportunities that included new work as well as recompetes.

General Manager for cyber security and network management services. Customers included DISA, DSS, Dept of Labor, NOAA, and Washington Headquarters Service (WHS). Grew annual revenue for my Division from $300K to $5M. All projects managed against CMMI L3 standards.
