About Rick Rubin

Rick Rubin’s tenure in the gift card industry spans 20+ years. I helped propel the largest B2C provider build gift card hundreds of retailers programs generate billions in revenue from 2001 – 2005. I was recruited by National Gift Card in 2007, as an executive leader to lead efforts on its merchant, processor, and corporate business relationships. NGC became the market leader in the B2B gift card space. I was responsible for our hyper growth that grew from $6M when I joined to over $800M in TDV. We successfully sold to our competitor in 2020. Built a successful career being an expert in identifying targets to cultivate, developing value propositions for prospects and executing sales strategies very effectively and efficiently. Considerable knowledge base of retail logistics pertaining to stored value cards, merchandising cards, and fulfillment.
