As Vice President at EQR, Mr. Scaffidi’s current responsibility is to manage all EQR sales and estimating, as well as act as technical advisor for new projects and technologies, such as TMDL and LID projects. Mr. Scaffidi is responsible for coordinating sales and estimating, providing contract budgets for project managers, project scheduling, and client relations. He currently leads the estimating and sales departments in producing estimates for both private and public sector projects, ranging in value from $10,000-$10,000,000. Mr. Scaffidi not only produces estimates on many of the most challenging and innovative projects, he also monitors the quality of all estimates submitted by EQR. He reviews public and private projects for all proposals, estimates, RFQ’s and RFP’s. Mr. Scaffidi is also involved in all design/build projects, where he defines the roles and responsibilities of the design, engineering and construction teams, and then manages the necessary milestones in project schedules. In addition, Mr. Scaffidi technically advises and trains EQR staff on new water quality and quantity control techniques, including their function, installation, costs, and maintenance requirements. He lectures at colleges and industry seminars on soil bioengineering techniques and the construction and maintenance of bioretention facilities and permeable pavements.
