Responsible for all Telecommunications for North America and Mexico to include phone switches, conference calling, cell phones and VOIP communications for more than 100 locations.Tasked with controlling cost and ensuring the team meets our Service Level agreements with our internal customers.Responsible for the Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) in North America, this includes planning, configurations, and deployment of all hardware.Overseeing change management for all locations concerning the data network, including ordering of all data circuits and monitoring of the circuits.Project Leader for Wide Area Network replacement for 134 locations utilizing MPLS in North America, process included leading RFI and RFP process with several vendors, contract negotiation and project planning with Implementation.Participate in several Global teams to bring standard processes and approaches to improve service delivery and efficiency, teams include Global monitoring, Wide Area Network, Local Area Network.Participated in several projects for Mergers and Acquisitions to successfully integrate the Information Technology area into the Bosch environment.

Manage 15 associates, 3 help desk associates, 4 hardware and software specialists, 4 AS400 operators, 1 CAD/Engineering specialist, 1 Infrastructure engineer, 2 Network Engineers. Responsible for employee development, written appraisals and time and expense approval.Server administration for 30 NT/2000 servers to include Maintaining the DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMS, and Netscape Proxy Servers.Responsible for the analysis of the monthly AP Report insuring IT budgets were complied with. Involved with migration plan to Microsoft Windows 2000, to include Windows 2000 Domain controller server implementation, group strategy/creation. Conducted interviews with potential employee candidates for a variety of position vacancies.Troubleshoot problems concerning the network infrastructure, as well as design and plan LAN/WAN updates/upgrades.Performed Network analysis/Project planning which resulted in consolidation of the NT server environment.Recently completed the upgrade to gigabit Ethernet throughout the plant, approximately 70 Cisco 35XX switches and 2 Cisco 6509 Routing gigabit switches.Responsible for the outsourcing of the AS400 operations to IBM, to include coordination with IBM and five Bosch locations for daily production.Provide Microsoft Exchange server administration for 11 Mail servers in 2 separate mail sites providing support on Exchange 5.5 and exchange 2000.
