Overall mission and objective of NITC was the improvement of quality of life of all Nebraskans by promoting the use of information technology in education, health care, economic development and all levels of government. Established and organized eHealth Council to oversee the utilization of health information technology statewide.Health Information Technology Coordinator- Nebraska Representative to the Office of National Coordinator for the deployment of a nationwide electronic medical record system. NeHII-Nebraska Health Information Initiative-State Representative Board Member responsible for the statewide integration of electronic medical record system.Nebraska Partners in Prevention-Chairman. Responsibilities included oversight of local and state agencies whose focus was underage drinking and substance abuse.Nebraska Dept. of Economic Development-Business Development Liaison.
