Lead 2 shift HVAC final assembly area for one of Houston's largest manufacturing companies. Played key roll as one of many to help Goodman climb from number 2 in the market to the number 1 overall manufacturer of residential and lite commercial air conditioners. Some of the milestones we achieved throughout my time with Goodman were playing a part of a diverse team that achieved successful transformation from R22 to R410a. The successful implementation of ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004. The design and launch of the 5mm copper coil from 3/8' copper coil resulting in a $46 million annual savings. Productivity increase from 97% to 110%, volume increase from 1.7 million to 2.2 million units a year with weekly zero late to customer. Direct labor savings plant wide of 8.6 million through lean implementation, scrap reduction of 27%. One of our greatest achievements was the drive and determination to create a safe work environment, driven through our VP and our Safety Director we created plant wide safety committees that allowed us to focus on our greatest asset, our employees. Through hard work and our safety teams we were able to reduce our TRIR by 52%.

Lead successful transformation and launch of third shift V5 compressor platform from Dryden rd. facility to Kettering boulevard facility. Instilled discipline and accountability for people, safety, quality, cost and delivery, allowing us to complete 2004 with zero formal customer complaints in a high speed Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility.In late 2004 assumed lead responsibilities for struggling CVC compressor dept. Utilizing DMS and lean manufacturing principles along with a great team of 24 hourly associates we were able to increase overall production by 80% allowing us to achieve and sustain world class run rates of 70 units per hour.
