Known as a versatile, knowledgeable and calm person who leads by example I have held many duties & responsibilities within Grainger over 25+ years. For the Past 3 years I have held the Sales Specialist position with responsibilities including Customer Service, Price quotation, Sourcing, Counter Sales utilizing the SAP order entry system, Local Showroom Design & Maintenance, and more recently creating a plan to drive Business into the newly relocated Reading Branch since E-commerce has reduced local foot traffic. Additionally in the the previous two years I had responsibilities in Grainger's Keep Stock VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) program as an IMR (In Market Resource) which included servicing a Customer's Stockroom (up to $750,000 in Sales per year) as well as refilling & maintaining/repairing two vendor owned customer site vending machines. I also covered approximately 7 other accounts in a backup role as well as assisting in cross referencing, labeling, and other projects for new & existing VMI accounts.In earlier years I was the Sales Team Leader for 11 years - Supervising up to 7 other employees and in actuality acting as an Assistant Manager. I also did double duty as a Phone Agent for many of those years in a standard office setting and later in a CISCO based Virtual Call Center setting. Before that I held Branch Counter/Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving and duties as assigned which included calls to Customers to collect payment on past due invoices. I was the local Sales Tax Specialist for many years. I was the Local Lead in the company's Customer Focused Quality System. I was responsible for training the local team as needed & maintaining updated training files. After completing four weeks of rigorous SAP training I was the SAP Power User in the Reading Branch.

I completed the Dale Carnegie Sales Training course in Allentown, PA in 1990
