Rick brings almost forty years of business development, yacht & crew management, technical equipment design and high-end luxury equipment & service sales in his current position as a freelance professional in the Luxury yachting Industry. Rick was the founder of Nautical Structures Industries, creating the culture and products that today define Nautical Structures' high-end standards of products and services. Rick then went on to start the JMS Yachting USA business, taking the brand from a virtually unknown entiy to that of a well known and respected brand in the United States. Rick is client-focused, capable of co-developing unique and specialized solutions for luxury and commercial vessels and businesses. Rick has had the opportunity to travel the world over the past four decades, making friends and developing long-term business relationships and partnerships. Having first-hand experience and understanding of the yachting industry Rick works equally well with high net-worth Owners and Captain/crew of the amazing vessels he has had the pleasure of supporting. JMS is completely focused on operational management, new build and refit supervision. JMS is not involved in charter and brokerage which means there no conflict of interest, just pure independent and transparent yacht management delivered to over 50 superyachts.After founding and co-managing Nautical Structures for over 36 years I made the difficult decision to leave and start a new chapter in my yachting career. In just over 12 months I started the US-based business from simply an idea, sourced and built-out the office, attracted new clients to build a fleet of 8 yachts, hired two exceptional team-members and most importantly took the JMS Yachting brand from a virtually unknown brand here in the US to what is today recognized as a premium yacht management brand in the States! Founded the company Nautical Structures. I helped to built the brand recognition world-wide as a premiere manufacturer of high-end large-yacht equipment. I along with my sales and management team work with our shipyard and refit clients in developing the specifications for equipment needed in new construction or a major refit of a large yacht.

I developed residential boat lift equipment. This was my father's business, and I worked closely with my father in building this family business, which eventually became the springboard for me starting Nautical Structures. Thanks dad!!

I was a diver/tender working off-shore in the Gulf of Mexico Oil Field industry. I supported divers in saturation diving, I was a bell and bounce diver working on pipe-line riser work. I operated and treated divers in decompression chambers as a Chamber operator/EMT.
