Along with the great team at Metops Weather, I know own and join manage Metops Weather.- I have experience in providing high-value, relevant and actionable weather and climate insights to the aviation industry, emergency services, government agencies, the agricultural, energy and resources sectors and media.- I also have many years of experience managing a team of professional meteorologists who provided timely, accurate and relevant weather forecasts and warnings to a variety of stakeholders. These included the general public, emergency management agencies, aviation and agricultural industries as well as the media.- My key focus is using effective and engaging communication tailored to a stakeholder's need to ensure that weather insights have their greatest impact and value.- I am also experienced in providing critical weather information to emergency management agencies during high-impact weather events such as the 2011 Queensland floods, ex-tropical cyclone Oswald and severe tropical cyclones Marcia and Debbie.- My extensive experience in helping customers understand and mitigate weather risk has led to the amazing opportunity to become a company director.
