As an Industrial Engineering student and a technological innovation enthusiast I am currently doing my graduation assignment for the company MCB Nederland B.V. As a student I’ve been studying and improving business processes for a couple of years now. The main thing my education has given me is the ability to gather various sorts of data in a multidisciplinary environment, thoroughly analyze this data, set up improvement plans and critically test these. I have done these kinds of improvement studies in multiple different industries on subjects varying from optimizing products, production processes or organizations. I like to work on challenging projects, because it helps me push my limits and grow in knowledge and expertise.Why I think I exceed in my field of operation is my ability to work with people from all different kinds of expertise and backgrounds, I try to build a bridge between technology, business development and people. Always looking for ways to add more value to the company in a Lean sort of way. As a part time job (and in a few months full time) I am working for the company Vlemmix Aanhangwagens B.V. the company produces trailers and boat trailers. it is my job to keep the production going. So taking care of inbound logistics, the production itself, outbound logistics, sales and administration. Here I help the company also with improving the factory by standardizing the production process and implementing optimization techniques as: 5S, Kaizen studies, and Lean elements. I’m very interested in business development and technology in general. My other interests are R&D, manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.
