Pathway is modeled by means of solving ordinary differential equations using kinetic parameters of enzymes based on experimentally determined values from literature. Pathway includes (not limited to) the enzymes: ACP, ACC, FabD, Fab[F,H,G,A,Z,I,H,B] and PlsB. All work is done using MATLAB with code written by myself.Note: Information is incomplete because of confidentiality. -
Student ResearcherTu Delft Sep 2014 - Dec 2014Delft, NederlandInvestigation of possible toxin transport through bionano tubes by the organism E. Coli during starvation. Variations of MazE and MazF knockouts are created of the organism E. Coli using lambda red recombination. These strains are transformed with plasmids containing genes of over expressed MazE and or mazF genes. The effects on the growth rate of the different strains are tested under starvation in multi-culture experiments.
