Responsible for the overall business success for a new commercial wireless control system productline across multiple market channels. Accountable for product planning and marketing, delivering key sales tools to enable sales to hit annual targets, maintaining healthy profit margins, effectively launching new products, and setting the new product roadmap with our engineering team.

My responsibilities included leading a cross functional team through the design, development, and qualification process to bring a family of wireless control products from initial concept phases through full production. My work included developing and managing timelines and resources, managing multiple projects in different stages of development, and ensuring all products met cost and quality goals. Working directly with senior management and across the organization, I developed the plan for next generation of devices and successfully launched multiple products in the family. In addition I was the primary contact for sales, marketing, operations, and manufacturing for the wireless product family and had ownership of the engineering success of the product line.

Developed a dynamic cost model for the manufacture of a high speed composite boat for the Office of Naval Research.

Commercialized new mounting product to expand product offerings in international markets. Included working with international vendors to improve design and manufacturability, coordinating with supply chain, vendors and engineering, and successfully releasing the product to customers. Designed new solution which allows installation of RF products on varied material surfaces, which increases the range of available product applications

• Developed enhanced fabrication process and manufacturing systems, which were used for applying latex coating to fibers, and manufacturing composite packaging materials for high performance aerospace components including helicopter rotors• Performed manufacturing line analysis, built prototype equipment, and incorporated the newly designed station into the existing production line, resulting in significant improvements in output rate, product quality, and process yield.

• Improved PC board design flexibility with new standard by designing, implementing, and analyzing data for DOE on Pb-free wave soldering manufacturing process; resulted in significant quality improvement and reduction of defects• Designed and implemented new Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line capability DOE to allow the placement of new smaller components used in complex circuit designs

• Developed improved design for rotary dimmer product in order to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency• Prepared new design for manufacturing readiness, including testing protocol to meet UL standards, communicating with vendors about prototypes and preparing for full-scale manufacturing
